Walbro Series 6000 Fuel Pumps

Walbro's Series 6000 pumps offer exceptional performance in a variety of demanding applications. The are perfect for automotive, truck, off-highway, agriculture, RV, and military or industrial applications. These pumps can handle gasoline, diesel fuel and many other fluids.

Because Series 6000 pumps have only three moving parts, there is practically nothing to wear out. Electronic circuitry, encased in epoxy to resisty shock and vibration, eliminates mechanical switching for exceptional reliability. A magnetic filter traps metallic particles. Two filters are offered: 70 micron for gasoline pumps or 420 micron for diesel pumps. Filters are easily accessible for cleaning.

Series 6000 pumps are available in pressure ratings from 3 to 10 psi. Military-approved models are available. Series 6000 pumps are self-priming and have high lift capabilty. The 10 psi version is particularly useful with high heads, long lines and high lifts.

The Series 6000 lineup includes three models which are widely used in truck refrigeration units throughout the world. THese service replacement units are available in gasoline and diesel versions.

Walbro Marine Pumps

Walbro marine electronic pumps are engineered to the strictest safety requirements. They exceed the fire resistance, corrosion reistance and dielectric requirements of the Marine Division of Underwriters Laboratory. They also meet the "Boat and Associated Equipment Safety Standards for Electrical and Gasoline Fuel Systems" published by the United States Coast Guard, January 31, 1977.

Walbro marine diesel electronic pumps provide dependable, pressure-controlled fuel supply. They can pull or push fuel. they are self priming, eliminate hand pumping, and reduce vapor lock problems. They can be used as a completely independent fuel pump system, or as a booster or standby unit. They can transfer diesel or gasoline.

Thanks to a solid state design, mechanical switching elements are eliminated for reliable operations. Only three moving parts are incoporated in the pump, so there is little to wear out. The electrical system is fully insulated and sealed, with a two-wire hookup and static ground connection. Current draw is low. Two filters are used. A magnetic filter traps metallic particles while a microbon filter dissipates water and collects fine particles.

These pumps are labeled "Diesel Use Only," but they work great with gasoline, too. The label is mainly there to protect the manufacturer - If your boat has a gasoline leak, your boat catchs fire, and you die, no one wants to get blamed for it.
